Jake Hansen, who has served the past two seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the MSJC baseball team, was named the program's new head coach on Thursday according to Dean of Athletics and Kinesiology Patrick Springer.

The MSJC baseball team kicked off their long awaited 2021 season on Sunday as they went on the road and defeated Allan Hancock College 15-11. The Eagles will play at home on Tuesday April 13th when they host Antelope Valley in a double header beginning at noon.
