Luka Filipovic prepped at Carnegie Schools in Riverside where he participated in basketball and track and field for one year.  While at Carnegie Luka helped his basketball team to the 2017 CIF Southern Section Championship and the team reached the State title game before falling to Villa Park.  Luka was named First Team All-CIF and All League as well as being named the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year as well as averaging 23 points per game.  Luka, who is a native of Belgrade, Serbia, spent last season as a redshirt at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee.  Luka is currently ranked as the #17 basketball prospect in all of Serbia for players that were born in 1998.
