Lenzell Simmons joins the MSJC team for the season after spending the 2017-18 season at Impact Academy, a post graduate school in Las Vegas.  Simmons played his final three seasons of high school basketball with three different schools.  He played his sophomore season at San Bernardino Cajon High where he helped the varsity team to a 16-11 record and was a teammate of current Eagle sophomore C.J. Hyder.  Lenzell went on to earn Honorable Mention All-Area honors from the Riverside Press Enterprise after his junior season at San Jacinto High School.  Lenzell concluded his high school career at Riverside Poly High.  Lenzell also played the travel ball circuit with ICAN All-Stars from Los Angeles.
