Men's Basketball Player C.J. Hyder Earns CCCMBCA Scholarship

Mt. San Jacinto men's basketball player C.J. Hyder was one of four student-athletes in the State to earn a scholarship from the California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association (CCCMBCA).

Hyder who played two seasons for the Eagles was honored along with Hayden Moore of Cypress, Jacob Salinero of Skyline, and Wyatt Persin of Las Positas College.  Hyder started all 28 games this past season for MSJC and was named First Team All Pacific Coast Athletic Conference helping lead the Eagles to a record of 22-6.  Hyder, from Cajon High School in San Bernardino, averaged 10 points and 6.5 rebounds this past season and made 58 three point shots.

The scholarships are awarded to players that have spent two seasons with their respective teams, have a grade point average above 3.25, and have been involved on thier own individual campuses.  Hyder will be a member of the basketball team next season at Fresno State University.
