The MSJC men's basketball team lost a pair of tough road games as they fell at #3 ranked Fullerton College and at Ventura.

The Eagles lost at #3 Fullerton on November 23rd as they fell behind by 9 at the half on their way to a 66-48 defeat.  MSJC struggled on the offensive end all night as they finished shooting just 15 of 57 (26.3%) on the evening.  Jamaal Barnes and Brandon Fredrick each scored 10 points to pace the Eagles in scoring.  Chidi Okwarabizie had a team best 7 rebounds.

On Saturday November 30th the Eagles got out to as much as an 8 point lead midway through the first half, before Ventura closed out the first half with a 22-7 run to lead at the break 41-34.  The Pirates slowly pulled away in the second to win 80-62.  Fredrick led three Eagles in double figures with 12 while Barnes and Latravian Glover each had 11 for the Eagles.

MSJC, who has played a brutally tough non-conference schedule, will be back in action Wednesday (Dec. 4th) when they take on yet another ranked opponent in #10 East Los Angeles.  Wednesday's game at Riverside City College will tip-off at 3 pm.  Thursday the Eagles will return to RCC to play Saddleback College at 1 pm and MSJC will round out the RCC Holiday Classic taking on the host Tigers Saturday December 7th with that game beginning at 4 pm.

The Eagles next home game is Saturday December 14th at 1 pm.
