Men's Golf Qualifies Two for Regionals

The MSJC men's golf team had two players qualify for the CCCAA Regionals on Monday after playing in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Finals.

Valentin Plumier and Connor Pierson will represent the Eagles next week in the So Cal Regional after finishing the regular season with the 13th and 14th best scoring averages in the conference.  The Eagles as a team wrapped up the regular season finishing third in the conference standings with a record of 21-26, Palomar claimed the team conference title.

Plumier finished his day yesterday in the 36 hole event with a round of 78 which followed a score of 87 earlier in the day, while Pierson shot rounds of 81 and 83.  Fellow Eagle Tyler Leone had a good day in the PCAC Finals as he shot 81/73, but came in just behind Pierson in his season scoring average to just miss out on the Regionals. 

Plumier will enter the post season with a scoring average of 79.3, while Pierson was just behind hime at 79.7.  MSJC team members Noah Raia and Cade Lenarth also finished up their seasons yesterday with Raia shooting 88/83 and Lenarth carding 79/89.
