MSJC men's golfer Tyler Leone signed a scholarship this week to continue his education and golf career next year at Columbia International University.

Leone, a sophomore from Corona, helped his team this past season to a third place finish in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference as the Eagles finished with a record of 21-26.  Leone just missed out on qualifying for the CCCAA Southern California Regional Tournament as he ended the regular season in 15th place in the conference standings.

Leone had an average score this season of 80.1, while he saved his best performance of the year for last as he shot a personal low of 73 in the final round of the PCAC Tournament at El Camino Country Club.

Columbia International is located in Monticello, South Carolina and competes in the NAIA and the Appalachian Athletic Conference.
