W. Golf Gets Their Season Underway in the Desert

The MSJC women's golf team kicked off their 2022 season last week with a trip to the Desert Invitational in Palm Desert.

The Eagles shot a team score of 760 over the two day event as they tied for 7th place.

MSJC was paced by Arianah Serrato who shot an 89 on day one, followed by an 82 on day two for a total of 171.  Maile Kamalii shaved 12 strokes off her day one score of 102 to shoot an 89 in her second round as she came in with a 190 total.  Jasmin Motta was very consistent over the two day event as she carded a 95 and a 96 for a 191 two round total.  Marilyn Campos (209), Lilly Villa (225), and Cassandra Tovar (258) rounded out the Eagles scoring.

The Eagles are now already underway in conference action and will be at home on Wednesday September 14th when they host a conference match at Soboba Country Club beginning at 10 am.
