Eagle Soccer Wraps up Season, Honors Sophomores

The MSJC women's soccer team wrapped up their season on Friday with a home match against visiting Chaffey College on the Menifee Campus.

The Eagles could not come away with the victory on Friday as they lost 7-0, but they did take time to honor their 2019 class of Sophomores.

Sophomores Alexandria Segeberg and Ariana Serrato closed out their Eagle careers after sharing the team lead in goals scored during the 2019 season.  Both scored 7 goals this year with Serrato also adding 4 assists and spending some time at Goal Keeper for MSJC.  The Eagles also had strong contributions this year from fellow sophomores, Shayla Lopez (2 goals, 1 assist), Ajahni McClendon (1 goal), Adailia Ploudre (1 goal, 1 assist), and Mackenzie Berringer.  

Freshman Ruby Douhan completed her first year with the program by leading the Eagles in points on the year with 19 as she scored 6 goals and had a team high 7 assists on the season.

The Eagles finished the year with an overall record of 5-11-3 and were 3-7-2 in their first year as members of the Inland Empire Athletic Conference.
