Crystal Lopez joined the MSJC women's soccer staff during the 2017 season. Lopez played high school soccer at Canyon Springs High School in Moreno Valley, before going onto play at the NCAA Division I level at UC-Riverside, where she was a forward for the Highlanders. Crystal graduated from UCR with a degree in Psychology and is currently taking graduate classes in counseling.

Coach Lopez is also currently the head girls soccer coach at Orange Vista High School in Perris. Lopez currently holds a National US Soccer E License and is also a Grade 8 referee for the Temecula Valley Soccer Referee Association. Lopez enjoys going to the beach, Knotts Berry Farm, and the San Diego Safari Park in her free time and is a fan of the USA men's and women's National soccer teams. Crystal hopes to become a high level club coach or possibly a head college coach in the future while becoming a high school or college counselor.
