The women's tennis team earned a hard-fought 5-4 victory Tuesday afternoon in their home opener against the Mt. SAC Mounties. Despite having to default three matches, the Eagles were able to win 5 of their 6 matches on the court. The deciding point was captured by freshman Frexie Maralit in her singles match. Of note, it was her first win of the season. "I was so happy to get that winning point on the board for us today!" Maralit said. "The ladies have had some great practices lately and that is translating to their match play, I was really impressed with how they kept battling out there today to secure the win." said Coach Page.
