The MSJC baseball team has opened up their season with four wins in their first five games.

The Eagles started the season with an extra inning victory over LA Harbor 7-6, before suffering their only loss so far to East LA on January 26th. Since then the Eagles have battled for victories over Fullerton, Pasadena, and then yesterday avenged their loss to East LA with a win.

In yesterday's contest Shawn McAdams threw 8 solid innings allowing just one unearned run in the 5-3 victory over East LA. Carson McCafferty and Craig Venable each had two RBIs a piece for the Eagles. McCafferty finished the game with three hits while Venable and Shane Mittleman both had 2.

MSJC is right back in action today when they host Irvine Valley at 2 pm.
