The visiting team won all three games last week in an Inland Empire Athletic Conference series between MSJC and San Bernardino Valley with the Wolverines earning two wins.

In the first game of the series on Tuesday San Bernardino scored in six different innings on their way to a 14-10 victory.  The Eagles had a brief lead in the game at 5-4 after two innings, but could not hold on.  Four runs in the bottom of the 8th closed the gap to 12-10, but SBVC was able to tack on two more in the top of the 9th to secure the victory.  Four Eagles had two hits in the game as Phoenix Sommay, Jaden Pickowitz, Ryan Grinnals, and Nico Reyes all had a pair of hits.  Pickowitz had a homerun and two RBIs in the loss, while Sommay had a triple and two knocked in.  DJ Graham also had two RBIs in the game.

On Thursday at San Bernardino the Eagles rallied to score five times in the top of the ninth to storm back for a 9-7 road win.  Jaden Jones had a four hit day with two runs driven in.  Pickowitz continued his hot streak with 3 RBIs on three hits including a triple.  Will Potter had three hits as well including two doubles.  It was Jones' two run single in the top of the ninth that gave MSJC a 7-6 lead before Pickowitz knocked in two more with a triple to push the lead to 9-6 heading into bottom of the ninth.  Brock Robarts pitched the ninth to earn a save for the Eagles, Garrett Teunissen earned the victory pitching 1 1/3 innings and not allowing a run.

In the series finale on Saturday a six run 5th inning for SBVC did in the Eagles as they lost 10-5.  Potter had three more hits on Saturday as he drove in a run, while Pickowitz and Jones both had two hits and an RBI.  Thomas Napolitano also added a pair of hits including a double.

This week the Eagles will take on Cerro Coso in a three game set.  Tuesday the Eagles host the Cyotoes at 2:30, before traveling to Ridgecrest for games on Friday and Saturday.  Friday's game is scheduled for 6 pm and Saturday's for noon.
