Sullivan Latest Eagle Football Player to Sign Scholarship

MSJC football player C.J.Sullivan became the latest former Eagle to earn a scholarship when he signed with Angelo State University last week.

Sullivan, a graduate of Hemet Tahquitz High School, completed the 2019 season as MSJC's top wide receiver and earned All American Mountain Conference accolades as well as being named to the All-Region IV team.

Sullivan led the team in receiving yards with 663 on the year, receptions with 44, and in touchdowns with 12.  During his freshman season, Sullivan also led the Eagles in TD receptions as he hauled in 11 to go along with 28 catches for 418 yards.  This past season Sullivan along with his teammates had an impressive 8-3 record and reached the Western States Bowl.

Angelo State University is an NCAA Division II school in San Angelo, Texas.  Angelo competes in the very tough Lone Star Conference and are coming off a season in which they posted an 8-3 record.
