The MSJC men's basketball team saw their four game winning streak ended on Thursday night as a tough shooting night led to a 73-55 loss to the state's #1 ranked team Fullerton College.

Despite a night that saw MSJC shoot just 28.6% from the field the Eagles stayed within striking distance of the Hornets until the final four minutes.  Down 12 at the half the Eagles were unable to ever really make a run at Fullerton who shot the ball with consistency all night as they shot a very efficient 50% from the field in the contest.

Isaiah Williams was the only Eagle who managed to score in double figures on the night as he recorded a team high 12 points.  Mekhi Hill provided a spark off the bench with 9 points, Anton Mozga also added 9 and Isaiah Shirley chipped in with 8 points on the night.  Mozga finished with a game high 11 rebounds in the loss while Shirley and Ethan Bell both had 3 assists.

The loss drops MSJC to 4-3 on the season and their schedule doesn't get much easier as they play three times next week at the Riverside Holiday Tournament.  Wednesday the Eagles will take on Cerritos College for the second time this season, with that game set to tip at 3 pm.  Thursday MSJC will play East LA at 4 pm and on Saturday the Eagles play Saddleback at 10 am, all three games will be played at RCC.
