Four Men's Basketball Players Honored by Conference

Four MSJC men's basketball players earned all-conference honors the IEAC announced on Saturday. Anton Mozga and Isaiah Skinner earned First Team All League honors while Danilo Da Silva and Ethan Bell were named to the Second Team.

Mozga finished his sophomore year averaging 13.9 points and 13 rebounds per game over the entire season, in IEAC games he pushed those numbers to 14.4 points and pulled in 12.6 rebounds.  Skinner, a freshman finished as the team's top scorer for the overall season at 14.3 points per game, he connected on 73 three point shots and dished out 78 assists.

Da Silva and Bell who were both returners from the 2020 Eagle team averaged 12.2 and 8.5 points respectively.  Da Silva upped his average to just over 13 in conference games while Bell was above 9.  They also finished the season as the top two assist men on the team with Da Silva making 114 assists while Bell finished with 107.

These four along with their teammates helped the Eagles finish 18-10 on the regular season as the won 9 of their last 10 games.  They open the play-offs tonight at Mt. SAC.  The winner of tonight's game will travel to Fullerton on Thursday.
