The MSJC men's basketball team, who had rallied to win 9 of their final 10 regular season games, saw their season come to an end in the Southern California Regional Tournament on Tuesday with a 75-71 loss at Mt. San Antonio.

The Eagles trailed by four at the half and could never quite get over the hump as the two teams played even in the second half allowing the Mounties to hang on for the win.  Mekhi Hill scored 9 of his 11 points in the first half to keep MSJC close.  Josh Hardiman added 7 of his 9 points in the first 20 minutes.  Both teams shot similar percentages from the field in the game with MSJC finishing right at 39% and Mt. SAC just below at 38.7.  The Mounties were one of the few teams this season who were able to out rebound the Eagles as they held a 39-35 advantage for the game.

When it was over three Eagles had reached double figures in scoring led by Danilo Da Silva's 13.  Anton Mozga added 12 and 7 rebounds while Hill added a team best 8 rebounds to his 11 points.  Isaiah Skinner, Cameron Durr, and Hardiman all finished with 9 points and Ethan Bell added 8.  Bell also had a game high 5 assists.

The loss wraps up the Eagles season with a final record of 18-11.
