The MSJC men's basketball team continued their winning ways on Saturday as they traveled to LA Pierce and defeated the Brahmas 100-82 in a non-conference game.

Isaiah Skinner had a big game for the state's second ranked team as he scored a season high 28 points while also grabbing 6 rebounds, making 3 assists, and collecting 6 steals.  As has been the case all year though, the Eagles once again showed balance as four other MSJC players reached double figures.  Jackson Bernardo added 23 points and 6 assists, and Elijah Shirley scored 16 and pulled in a team high 8 rebounds.  Isiah Shirley also had 16 points to go along with 5 steals, Dasean Stevens scored 10 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and dished out a game high 7 assists.

The win improved the Eagles to 7-0 on the season, they also are the state's top scoring team through the first month of the season.  Through seven games MSJC is averaging 101.4 points per game and have four players averaging double figures in scoring, Stevens and Skinner are both at over 20 points per game.

MSJC will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Cypress for a 5 pm game, it is the Eagles only contest this week.  Next week MSJC will take part in the Riverside Holiday Tournament hosted by RCC where they will take on RCC, East LA, and Saddleback.
