The MSJC men's basketball team fought through some first half adversity on Saturday afternoon before pulling away late in a 88-66 road win at Copper Mountain.

The Eagles found themselves saddled by foul trouble in the first half, but were able to steady themselves to grab a 37-27 halftime lead.  CMC came out quickly in the second half to score the first 10 points and even the score, but MSJC then found their footing and would methodically pull away over the last 15 minutes.

Isaiah Skinner led the Eagle offense with 23 points, he also hauled in 8 rebounds.  Elijah Shirley recorded a double double with 11 points and 10 boards.  BJ Brown reached double figures with 12 points while Isiah Shirley and Darius Mason both added 9 points.  Mason also had 8 rebounds.

The win improves the Eagles overall record on the season to 16-1, they improved to 4-1 in Inland Empire Athletic Conference games.  MSJC will be at home on Wednesday night when they host College of the Desert at 7 pm.
