The MSJC men's golf team played in their first Orange Empire Athletic Conference Inland Division match on Monday and came away with a 1-3 record.

The Eagles posted a team score of 447 which was fourth in the five team event held at Bear Valley Country Club in Victorville.  Jay Wirth carded the lowest score of the day for MSJC as he turned in an 87.  Brando Bortfeld and Lucas Gawlak both shot 89 for the Eagles.  Joe Malone and Noah Howard also turned in matching scorecards for MSJC as each shot a 91.  Ethan Nering rounded out MSJC's scores on the afternoon with a 97.  Mt. SAC turned in the winning team score of the day with a 388.  They were followed by College of the Desert at 406 and Riverside at 412.  Victor Valley took the fifth spot on the day with a team total of 522.

The Eagles will head out to Rio Bravo Country Club in Bakersfield on Monday where they will take part in the So. Cal Regional Preview Tournament.  MSJC will host an OEC-Coastal event on Wednesday March 13th at Soboba Country Club.
