The MSJC men's tennis team picked up their first win of the year as they defeated Fullerton on Thursday 6-3.

The Eagles got a doubles win in the #2 match from Connor Westrich and Anthony Walmer as they shut out their opponents 8-0.  A default in the #3 doubles match allowed MSJC to hold a 2-1 lead headed into singles play.  Fullerton also were two players short in singles so the Eagles held a 4-1 advantage and then locked up the victory with a pair of wins at the #3 and #4 spots.

Anthony Torres-Martinez picked up a win at #3 as he won 6-2 and 6-1.  The Eagles capped off the day with a hard fought win by Rio Del Valle as he won in the #4 match 6-4, 2-6, and 10-5.

MSJC is now 1-2 on the season and will be back in action on Tuesday February 14th when they host Mt. SAC at 2 pm.
