The MSJC men's tennis team was back in action on Monday and came up short on the road at San Diego City as the Eagles fell 7-2.

The Eagles fell behind 2-1 after doubles, but did manage to pick up a win at #6 singles to earn a second point.

The number 3 doubles team of Rio Del Valle and Cole Proffitt earned a 8-4 win to get MSJC on the board, it was the first time the two had played together this season.  Anthony Walmer picked up his first win of the year as well in the number 6 singles match.  Walmer won in straight sets 6-1 and 7-6.  He dominated the second set tie breaker 7-0.

The Eagles as a team are now 1-5 on the season and will return to action today (Feb. 28th) when they host College of the Desert at 2 pm.
