The MSJC women's basketball team picked up a home win on Tuesday night over visiting Fullerton College 66-45.

The Eagles outscored the Hornets in all four quarters as they built leads of 13-9 after the first period and 26-16 at halftime.  The Hornets stayed within striking distance in the third quarter, but MSJC pulled away in the fourth for the victory.

Alexis Pina led the Eagles offensive attack on the night with a game high 16 points, she also grabbed a game high 13 rebounds to record a double double.  Sandee Heiermann added 14 points for MSJC in the win and had 3 steals as the Eagles forced 19 turnovers on the night.  Deja Blue just missed her own double double as she finished with 9 points, 9 rebounds, and also dished out a game high 6 assists.  Rayven Crook and Shyann Morreo had 7 points each for the Eagles, as nine MSJC players found the scoring column.

The win improved the Eagles season record to 4-3, they will be back in action on Friday and Saturday December 3rd and 4th when they play in the Irvine Valley College Crossover.  Friday MSJC will take on Irvine Valley at 7 pm and on Saturday will play Rio Hondo College at 4 pm, with both games played at IVC.
