The MSJC women's basketball team continued their winning ways on Saturday as they defeated visiting Los Angeles Trade Tech 66-57.

The Eagles out scored the Beavers 18-8 in the opening quarter and went on to lead 35-23 at halftime on their way to the victory.  Jana Roman led the way for the MSJC offense as she led three players in double figures with a team high 19 points.  She also hauled down a game best 15 rebounds to complete another impressive double double.  Valeria Brewer added 12 points in the win while Breyonna Bell scored 10 points.  Alaysia Kidwell was solid off the bench with 8 points and 7 rebounds.

The win was MSJC's 12th in a row and improved their record to  15-2 on the season.  The Eagles will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Mt. San Antonio for a 5 pm game.  The Eagles open Inland Empire Athletic Conference play on Saturday January 13th when they travel to Palo Verde.
