Crystal Malveaux returns to her alma mater to join the Eagles coaching staff.

Malveaux who played at MSJC from 2015-2017 was a two-time All-Conference player for the Eagles prior to earning a full scholarship to Cal Poly Pomona University.

Coach Crystal scored 570 points, pulled down 434 rebounds, and dished out 308 assists over her two-year career at MSJC.  During her sophomore season, Malveaux averaged over 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists per game.  In her time with the Eagles as a player the team had a combined record of 56-7, won a conference championship, and reached the State Elite Eight and So. Cal Regional Finals in the postseason. 

Crystal went on to play two seasons at Cal Poly Pomona where she played in 45 games over two seasons, making 7 starts in her senior season.  Cal Poly posted a 45-15 record in her two years with the program.  She had a career-high 21 points against Tarleton State in her senior year.

Malveaux has experience working with various high school and club teams as a coach as well as being heavily involved with several basketball camps since her graduation from Lakeside High School.

Malveaux earned her B.S, from Cal Poly in Kinesiology.  She recieved a Masters Degree from Liberty University in 2021.
