Taylor Bell took over as the head coach of the Mt. San Jacinto College Women’s basketball program for the 2023-24 season.

Bell, a former MSJC player himself, spent the past six seasons on the coaching staff for the Eagle men’s team.   While on the men’s staff, he helped the Eagles to six straight CCCAA State play-off appearances and a conference championship.

Bell, who played for MSJC from 2010-2012 and was named All Foothill Conference as a sophomore earned a scholarship to complete his playing career at Cal State Stanislaus.

During his senior season the Warriors won the CCAA conference tournament and advanced to the NCAA Division II National Tournament.

Since his graduation from Stanislaus, the Redlands native has been involved in coaching including spending time at the high school level as well as working on the travel ball circuit.  Bell spent the four seasons prior to joining MSJC as a varsity assistant at Citrus Valley High School in Redlands.  

Taylor also has a full-time job on campus as the Student Athlete Scholars Program Coordinator.
