The MSJC women's soccer team scored three times in the second half on Tuesday to pick up a road win at Victor Valley 4-2.

The Eagles scored the day's first goal in the 10th minute as Alexandria Segeberg hit the back of the net off an assist from Adailia Ploudre.  The Rams would tie the match up five minutes later on an unassisted goal by Ariana Toranzo to send the two teams to the half at 1-1.

MSJC then scored a pair of goals within 8 minutes of each other in the second to take charge of the match 3-1, as Ploudre scored on an assist from Ruby Douhan in the 52nd minute and then Ariana Serrato added an unassisted score in the 60th minute.  Victor Valley would pull within one in the 70th minute when they scored to make it 3-2, but the Eagles answered right back scoring just one minute later when Douhan knocked one in with an assist from Dainna Cali to put the match away.

Lauren Reynolds and Alex Basoukas shared time in goal with Reynolds allowing a pair of goals while making three saves, and Basoukas making two saves as well.

The win for the Eagles was their first ever in the newly formed Inland Empire Athletic Conference and their third overall on the season.  Last Friday the Eagles lost a tough 2-1 road match at College of the Desert.

MSJC now 3-6-1 overall and 1-2 in the IEAC will return to action next Tuesday October 15th when they host Norco College in a 4 pm match on the Menifee Campus.
