The MSJC women's soccer team found it hard to score goals over the last week as they lost a home match to San Bernardino Valley and finished in a tie against Victor Valley.
Tuesday the Eagles played a home match against San Bernardino Valley, but couldn't get their offense going as they fell 2-0 to the Wolverines. After a scoreless first half SBVC was able to score in the 71st and 74th minutes to pull out the victory. Andrea Landeros made 4 saves in goal for the Eagles.
On Friday Victor Valley visited Carl Quandt Stadium and this time it was both defenses that would not allow a goal on the day. The Eagles got off 12 shots, five of the them on goal, but couldn't get one into the net as the teams tied 0-0. Nicole Molina played all 90 minutes in goal for MSJC making 3 saves.
The Eagles are now 7-3-1 overall on the season and 1-1-1 in Inland Empire Athletic Conference play. They will play just one match this week when they travel to Chaffey College on Friday. Friday's match in Rancho Cucamonga is scheduled for 4 pm.
