The MSJC women's soccer team ran into a couple of tough road losses on back to back Fridays as they lost to the state's top ranked team Chaffey 4-0 on October 7th and then to College of the Desert 4-1 yesterday.

The Eagles fell behind in the 11th minute at Chaffey and trailed 2-0 at halftime.  The Panthers, who are still unbeaten on the season, would add two more goals in the second half to pull away for the win.  Andrea Landeros made 3 saves for MSJC.

This past Friday it was another early goal by the home team, this time Desert as they scored just four minutes into the match to take an early 1-0 lead.  The Eagles would fight back to tie it up just before halftime when Aaliyah Sims scored on an assist from Jalen Uribe to make it 1-1.  The second half was all Roadrunners as they scored three times in the final 16 minutes to earn the victory.

The losses dropped MSJC to 7-5-1 overall on the season and 1-3-1 in Inland Empire Athletic Conference play.  The Eagles return to action on Tuesday October 18th when they host Norco College at 4 pm.
