Women's Soccer Season Comes to an End at Canyons

The MSJC women's soccer team saw their season come to an end on Wednesday night in the opening round of the CCCAA Southern California Regional play-offs as they lost to College of the Canyons 4-0.

The Cougars scored a pair of goals in each half as they out shot MSJC 21-1 in the contest.  Goals at the 17:53 and 30:47 mark gave Canyons the 2-0 halftime lead and then second half goals in the 60th and 67th minutes put the match our of reach.

MSJC goal keeper Nicole Molina did all she could to keep the Eagles in the match as she made a career high 12 saves in the match.

The Eagles were making their first play-off appearance since 2016 and finish the season with an overall record of 10-8-1, they finished in third place in the Inland Empire Athletic Conference with a 4-5-1 mark.
