The MSJC women's soccer team opened up play in the Inland Empire Athletic Conference with a 2-0 win at Norco on Friday.

The Eagles picked up their 7th straight win as they scored a goal in each half to earn the shut out victory.  Belinda Jara scored the team's first half goal when she found the back of the net in the 32nd minute.  Aaliyah Sims would tack on another very late in the contest as she scored in the 90th minute.  Ashlyn Goade played all 90 minutes in goal for MSJC and made a pair of saves.

When the match was over, the Eagles dominated most of the stats as they got off 14 shots, compared to just two by Norco.  Ten of those shots were on frame for MSJC as they forced the duo of goal keepers from Norco to make 8 saves.

The win pushes the Eagles overall season record to 9-1, they are 1-0 in the IEAC.  All nine of MSJC's victories have come by way of shut outs.

MSJC returns to action on Tuesday when they host San Bernardino Valley at 4 pm at HCN Bank Stadium on the Menifee Campus.  The Wolverines come into Tuesday's match at 1-0 in conference action and have an overall record of 4-4-3.
