Kayla Garcia would add one more score for the Eagles in the 78th minute this time from a Gasca assist to round out the scoring. Ashlyn Goade recorded the shutout in goal for MSJC, she made two saves.
Friday night in the heat at HCN Bank Stadium in Menifee it was a defensive battle with Long Beach City as the Eagles and Vikings went to halftime locked in a 0-0 tie. LBCC would score the night's first goal as they finally broke through in the 50th minute, but MSJC would strike right back when Gasca scored on a corner kick in the 53rd to even the match. Neither team could find the back of the net again and the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Goade again played all 90 minutes in goal for the Eagles making 4 saves on the night.
