The MSJC women's soccer team was awarded the #22 seed in the 2024 3C2A Regional playoffs and will travel to #11 Santiago Canyon on Wednesday for a first-round match.
The Eagles are making their third straight post-season appearance and will enter the contest with an overall record of 10-7-5. MSJC finished the regular season as the third-place team in the Inland Empire Athletic Conference. Santiago Canyon finished third this season in the Orange Empire Conference and have a record of 11-4-5. MSJC and Santiago Canyon played to a 3-3 draw earlier this year at HCN Bank in Menifee, that match was played September 24th.
The Eagles have been led this season by the scoring of Nathali Gasca and Lorena Gonzalez who both have been credited with 4 goals each. Gasca also has 5 assists and Gonzalez has four. Daisy Reyes and Ashlyn Goade have shared time in goal throughout the year for MSJC.
Wednesday's match is set to kick-off at Santiago Canyon at 2 pm.
