Women's Tennis; Strong Effort Comes up Short at Mt. SAC

The Eagle women's tennis team traveled to Mt. SAC and fell to the Mounties 6-3.  Strong performances were put in by Freshmen Hannah Ortega and Lindsay Lemus in singles.  "I was really proud of how well we fought on the court and were able to produce a couple of singles points,"  said head coach Cory Page.  Temperatures were in the 90's and players were having to use ice packs to cool down during changeovers for both teams.  The team hits the road again tomorrow with a trip to Antelope Valley College.
