The MSJC women's tennis team has began their season and Tuesday picked up their first victory in three matches as they defeated Victor Valley 8-1 in a home match.

The Eagles took a commanding lead in doubles as they won all three matches.  Emmy Giron and Cameron Royo took care of business in #1 doubles as they won easily 8-0.  The number two pairing of Trinity Anderson and Breannah Baron won 8-2.  The #3 doubles team of Savannah Llado and Sharon Aguilar also picked up an 8-2 victory.

In singles the Eagles won five of six matches with; Garon, Royo, Anderson, Baron, and Llado all earning a point for the team with their wins.

MSJC opened the season last week and fell to a very strong Riverside team and also lost a hard fought match to Antelope Valley.  The Eagles return to action next Thursday February 22nd when they travel to Grossmont.
