The MSJC women's tennis team won two Pacific Coast Athletic Conference matches in a row as they defeated Imperial Valley and San Diego City.

The Eagles traveled to Imperial on Tuesday February 27th and came away with a 6-3 win over the Desert Warriors.  Emmy Giron and Breannah Baron teamed up to win in doubles 8-4, while the team of Trinity Anderson and Savannah Llado won 8-6.  All four also added a singles wins to propel the Eagles to the victory.

Tuesday March 5th it was a tight home match with San Diego City where MSJC pulled out a 5-4 win against the Knights.  Giron and Baron were up 7-3 in their doubles match, before an injury forced the Knights to retire in the match.  Llado and Sharon Aguilar picked up an 8-5 win in doubles to give the Eagles a 2-1 lead headed to singles.  Baron and Llado both won their singles matches easily and the Knights were unable to fill the #6 spot giving Aguilar a default victory.

The wins improved MSJC to 3-3 overall on the season, they are 3-1 in PCAC matches.  The Eagles will return to action on Thursday when they travel to Southwestern in Chula Vista for a 2 pm contest.
