The MSJC women's tennis team split a pair of home matches last week as they lost to Mt. SAC and picked up a victory over Rio Hondo.

The #2 doubles team of Trinity Anderson and Cameron Royo earned a 9-7 win for MSJC while in the #6 singles match Jadyn Brush battled back after losing the first set to win in three: 3-6, 6-3, and 6-1.

Thursday the Eagles dominated doubles play as Madison Williamson and Breannah Baron set the tone in their match with an 8-5 win. Royo and Anderson won 8-2 and the duo of Savannah Llado and Brush won 8-3. MSJC would go on to win five of the six singles matches to win 8-1 on the day. Williamson, Baron, Royo, Llado, and Brush all won in straight sets.

MSJC now stands at 2-2 on the season and have just one match this week when they host Fullerton College on Tuesday at 2 pm on the San Jacinto Campus.
