Two players from the 2019 MSJC women's volleyball team have received scholarships to continue their playing careers and education at the four-year level.

Jenna Hillenbrand has signed with Cumberland University in Nashville, Tennessee while Makenzie Nutting is now on the roster at St. Katherine's University in San Marcos.

Hillenbrand had to sit out the Fall of 2019 season for MSJC after transferring into the Eagles program due to injury but still was able to earn a scholarship from the NAIA school.  Cumberland is a member of the Mid South Conference and is currently just beginning their 2020-21 season.  Hillenbrand came to MSJC from Temescal Canyon High School in Elsinore.

Nutting was a First Team All Inland Empire Conference selection for MSJC in the Fall of 2019 as she and her teammates won the program's first volleyball conference championship.  Nutting led the Eagles during the 2019 season with 258 kills and also had 17 solo and 67 block assists during the year.  Nutting is a graduate of Temecula Valley High and is redshirting this season at St. Katherine's during their abbreviated Spring season.  St. Katherine's is an NAIA school that competes in the Cal Pac Conference.

These two players join six former Eagles who earned scholarships from the 2018 team.  Unfortunately, MSJC was unable to compete during the 2020 season due to the Pandemic.  The Eagles and head coach Serrina Eason are back at work and looking forward to getting back on the court for the 2021 season.
