Trio of MSJC Volleyball Players Earn Scholarships

Three more MSJC women's volleyball players will be moving on for the 2021-22 school year to continue their education and playing careers at the university level.

Jacquline Barbosa, Ashlyn Arnold, and Savannah Page will all be competing next season at the four year level as they join former teammates Jenna Hillenbrand and Makenzie Nutting from the 2019 squad as former Eagles moving on.  Barbosa who was the team's leader in assists during the 2019 season with 680 has signed with Virginia State University.  Virginia State is an NCAA Division II school located in Petersburg, Virginia.  Arnold and Page will stay a little closer to home with Arnold signing with Marymount College in Palos Verdes, CA and Page with Providence Christian College in Pasadena.  Both Marymount and Providence Christian are NAIA school that compete in the California Pacific Conference (CALPAC).

These three players along with their teammates helped the Eagles to the first volleyball conference title in school history and an appearance in the CCCAA state play-offs during the 2019 season.  Unfortunately, due to the Pandemic the Eagles did not play in 2020.
