MSJC Volleyball Rolls On to Two More Wins

The MSJC volleyball team stayed perfect in Inland Empire Athletic Conference play as they picked up two more straight set victories last week.

The Eagles went on the road Wednesday and won in quick fashion over Copper Mountain 25-2, 25-9, and 25-11.  Josephine Springer led the way with 8 kills and 7 digs in the match, Mckenna Conklin also knocked down 8 kills and Trysta Vincelli dished out 24 assists.

Friday the Eagles hosted Chaffey in a special noon start, and once again came away with the straight set victory.  MSJC downed the Panthers by scores of 25-9, 25-12, and 25-7.  Conklin was the offensive leader as she had a match best 14 kills, Carley Kruse had 8.  Brooklyn Jimenez had a match high 12 digs, Vincelli once again was solid at setter as she had 24 assists for the second match in a row.

The Eagles are now 16-4 overall on the season and 5-0 in IEAC action.  MSJC will be on the road for a pair of matches this week as they travel to Victor Valley on Wednesday and College of the  Desert on Friday.
