Volleyball to Host RCC in Regional Opener Saturday

The MSJC volleyball team will begin the 3C2A Southern California Regional play-offs on Saturday when they host Riverside at 7 pm.

The Eagles finished the regular season as co-champions of the Inland Empire Athletic Conference and enter the post-season as the South's #14 seed.  RCC will come into the contest in San Jacinto with an overall record of 15-11, they tied for fifth place in the Orange Empire Conference.  The two teams met back in September with the Eagles earning the sweep over the Tigers in Riverside 25-11, 25-22, and 25-13.

MSJC is making thier sixth post-season appearance in the past 8 seasons.  This year the Eagles have been led by IEAC co-Player of the Year Mckenna Conklin as well as First Team all league selections Brooklynn Thomas and Carley KruseTrysta Vincelli and Megan Gajda were named Second Team All-IEAC.
