Coach Serrina Eason took over the women's volleyball program in 2014.  In Eason's first season as the Lady Eagles head coach she led the team to a 16-9 record, the 16 win season for MSJC was the most victories by a Lady Eagle volleyball team since 2008. During the 2016 season Eason led MSJC to their first ever CCAA State play-off appearance and the squad finished with a record of 15-11.  MSJC also had a winning season in 2017 as they posted a 13-12 record and tied for 2nd place in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference's North Division.  The 2018 season saw the team have the most wins in program history as they won 22 matches and once again advanced to the CCCAA play-offs.  The 2018 team also won a play-off match for the first time in program history as they reached the Southern California Regional Round of 16. The 2019 season brought another first for the Eagle program as the team won their first ever conference championship.  The Inland Empire Athletic Conference title brought with it the program's third play-off appearance in the past four seasons.  The Eagles unfortunately did not have a season in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, however the Eagles bounced back in 2021 to capture their second straight IEAC championship and again qualified for the CCCAA State play-offs.

Coach Eason is also a full time instructor in the Physical Education Department here at MSJC.  Prior to her arrival at Mt. San Jacinto, Eason was an assistant coach at Davis and Elkins College as well as being the head coach of the West Virginia Volleyball Club. Along with Eason's duties here at the college she also is the Director of youth development at 951 Elite Volleyball Club.
