Beach Volleyball Beats SD City, Falls to SD Mesa

The MSJC beach volleyball team split their final two road matches of the 2023 season on Friday as they defeated San Diego City, but lost to San Diego Mesa.

The Eagles fell to first place Mesa 5-0.  The Olympians won each match in straight sets to stay unbeaten in conference play at 10-0.

MSJC bounced back in their second match of the day as they picked up a 3-2 win over San Diego City.  Chloe Mata and Trysta Vincelli picked up a key win in the number 3 match as they won easily 21-7 and 21-9.  The #4 duo of Iris del Valle and Kalia Anady as well as the #5 pair of Tracey Blanchard and Audrey Underwood were also credited with victories for the Eagles.

MSJC will wrap up the regular season on Friday April 21st when they host Mira Costa and San Diego Miramar on the Menifee Campus.  The first match of the day on Friday is set for 9 am.
