The MSJC softball team won a doubleheader Friday over visiting Victor Valley.

The Eagles cruised to a victory in game one as they scored twice in the bottom of the third, 5 times in the fourth and put the game away with 3 more in the 5th to win 10-2 in five innings.  Chelsi Washburn and Ana Gastelum each drove in three runs in the victory while Veronica Prado drove in two.  In all MSJC pounded out 13 hits in the win and Amanda Gromko pitched a complete game for the Eagle win.

In game two MSJC scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to earn a 5-4 win over the Rams.  

The Eagles are now 8-10 overall on the season and 3-1 in Inland Empire Athletic Conference games.  MSJC returns to action on Monday when they host Chaffey College at noon on the Menifee Campus.
