Beaver-Brambilla Set to Take Over MSJC Softball Program

The MSJC softball program has a new head coach, Jessica Beaver-Brambilla will take the helm immediately according to Dean of Kinesiology, Health Science, Nutrition, and Athletics Patrick Springer.

Beaver-Brambilla takes over the program with over 20 years of playing and coaching experience.  She played high school softball locally at Hemet High, where she earned a scholarship to Long Beach State University.  While at Long Beach she was a four year starter for the 49ers at shortstop and earned All Big West Conference honors twice.  She went on to play six seasons of professional softball over seas prior to starting her coaching career.

Jessica returned to Hemet High in 2014 where she was an assistant coach for the Bulldogs, at the same time she began a four year stint as an assistant here at MSJC. She remained on the Eagles staff until 2017.  She also spent a season as a volunteer assistant at Long Beach State prior to being named the head coach at St. Katherine's University in San Marcos.  Beaver-Brambilla spent four seasons at St. Katherine's winning the Cal Pac Conference Championship in 2021, her final season at the school.

Since 2021 she has continued to play and give hitting lessons in the area.

Beaver-Brambilla replaces Amanda Clark who was the Eagles head coach for three seasons.  Clark is now the head coach at Taft College.

"I'm excited to be back here at MSJC", said Beaver-Brambilla "It's a great time to be a part of this department with all the new things going on and I am ready to get started."

"We are very pleased with the hiring of Jessica", said Springer.  "She brings a wealth of experience to our program, and with the new facilities at our Menifee Campus up and running I think this is a great opportunity to see our program grow".
