The MSJC softball team kicked off their 2024 season on Tuesday by going on the road and sweeping Glendale College in a non-conference doubleheader.

In the first game, the Eagles trailed 1-0 after five innings, but rallied for two runs in the top of the 6th and added one more in the top of the 7th to pull out the 3-1 victory.  Annalie Castanon and Carolina Blanco each drove in a run in the sixth and Bailey Heuer scored on an error in the 7th to give MSJC the win.  The pitching duo of Marissa Sanchez and Trinity Robinson combined to allow just one run and 5 hits.  Robinson went 4 innings to earn the win in the circle while Sanchez went 3.
