Julio Reyes was named the head coach at Mt. San Jacinto prior to the 2022 season.

In his first two years Reyes has led the Eagles to the 3C2A Southern California Regional play-offs twice.  In 2022 MSJC posted a record of 10-8-1 the program's first winning season in five years.  In 2023 Reyes' team once again reached the play-offs and earned an opening round victory before losing in the second round.  The 2023 season also saw the Eagles win 16 matches on their way to a 16-3-2 overall record.  The 16 victories are the most for the program since 2015.  Reyes was named the Inland Empire Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2023.

Reyes is a former NCAA Division I player at UC Riverside and also played with Tecos UAG Primera A in Mexico.  "It's an honor to be named the new head coach at MSJC", said Reyes "I have a lot of colleagues and friends in the soccer community that I believe will help with the recruiting process".  Reyes was the head coach at Beaumont High School where he led the program to a CIF Division V title in 2020.  Following their championship Reyes was named CIF Coach of the Year for that Division.

Coach Reyes has also spent time as the Youth Director for La Academia Soccer Club in Perris and also spent a season as a volunteer assistant at UC Riverside.  "I've been fortunate to be coached by some of the top coaches in our community", he added.  "Junior Gonzalez an assistant coach for the Chicago Fire of the MLS and Tim Cupello the head men's coach at UC Riverside have both helped shape me into the coach I am today."
